CHICAGO FSC SKATER TAKES THE INTERMEDIATE PAIRS BRONZE AT NATIONALS

KANSAS CITY -- Chicago FSC's very own Isabelle Martins and her partner Ryan Bedard took the Intermediate Pairs Bronze at the Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence, MO. The pair skated with their highest score of the season. Their short program to the tune of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. Then finished it up with a flawless Mary Poppins medley, scoring them into 3rd place at Nationals. Congratulations Izzy & Ryan, we are proud of you both! Graduating Seniors

Several years ago, U.S. Figure Skating launched its Graduating Seniors Program to recognize the achievements of those individuals graduating from high school who continued their training in figure skating while pursuing their academic studies.

The purpose of this program is to honor and credit those qualified graduates for their achievements during high school through the presentation of a certificate to the skater during a school function or recognition opportunity. Recognition is proudly awarded on behalf of the U.S. Figure Skating Program Development Committee to those high school graduates who meet the necessary application criteria.

The Chicago Figure Skating Club would like to congratulate these 2017 award recipients:

Emma Gray, Gold level
Danielle Gilfoyle, Platinum level
Amanda Angulo, Platinum level
Dagne Olson, Platinum level
Melissa Trujillo, Platinum level
Martha Bozek, Silver level
Cara Gabriel, Platinum level
